Makeup & Bath and Body Works

Playing with makeup is always fun, I have really been loving it lately,
And I have been filling in my eye brows for once.

:)

I told Chris when he gets home from his deployment I will actually look like a girl.
hahaha and maybe have a style? I don't know I am going to be 24 in two days
actually.... and I still wear jeans, and feel like I shouldn't,
like maybe I should have some sense of adult fashion?
One day.

Loved this eye look.

And I have also been trying to experiment with lip colors.

This was my first time doing a red lip.
I had never been brave enough to try pulling it off.
I really have been wanting to go back to school,
for nursing, I want to volunteer, I want to make sure I want to do this,
before tackling this full on, as going to school for a nurse,
takes a lot of time, dedication, and money.
...

It has always been in the back of my head, even through culinary school.

Another interest I have had though is beauty, hair, makeup, the whole thing!
I watch so many beauty gurus on youtube... haha
However, it isn't something I think I would go to school for,
it is something, like culinary, that is indeed very creative,
but it can be self taught.

If I go back to school it will be for something practical, not self taught,
something that makes a difference in the world, and something to change someone's life.

Not that cooking or makeup cannot make an impact, they do,
makeup can make people feel beautiful and confident,
and food can comfort you, calm you, and make you feel at home,

But nursing, makeup, and food impact people on a total different level.
That is what I want, I want to make a huge impact.

In the meantime of figuring out if I want to go back to school for nursing,
I have been pursuing applying to places like Sephora, Aveda, Lush, Ulta...
beauty places, to do something different, leave cooking/baking as a fun hobby,
and pursue another passion, get my foot in the door, even if it's cashiering.

I wanted to go into MAC... Definitely too nervous to walk in and take that leap!
I know people at Sephora are not cosmetologist, well some are,
but I know you don't have to be one to get hired, on the other hand,
I think that is different at MAC. If I maybe worked at Sephora... and was trained
(as I have heard they train you on everything over time)
Then maybe I would be brave enough to walk into MAC.

OK Bath and Body Works!!

Purchased with the gift card my brother in law gave me for Christmas

Let's start with the candles!

I picked up Harvest Peach which smells a lot like Market peach. "Juicy peaches are the heart of this sweet blend of cinnamon and autumn spices" It is super strong, and I adore it, however it mostly smells of peaches, I didn't smell the cinnamon until I read that it was in there.

I picked up Raspberry Peach Macaron and I love this so much! Chris even liked it too, which is a rarity! The first day I lit it, he asked me "What are you baking?! It smells amazing!" When I told him it was the candle, he was a bit disappointed haha but said it smelled really delicious. "The ultimate French cookie is celebrated in a unique blend of ripe raspberries, juicy peach, and almond cream" I missed out on this scent last year, so I had to have it!

Body washes!

Amber Blush! This is the ultimate feminine scent, it is similar to the new thousand wishes, but different. I have them both. "This ultra-feminine scent is a sensual blend of raspberry champagne, gardenia petals, and magnolia blossom with a seductive kiss of crystalized amber and creamy vanilla suede."

Oahu! This screams summer! Which I am ready for warm weather!! " A paradise blend of coconut blossom, sparkling bergamot and pink tiger lily bathed in Hawaiian monoi and molten amber"

Not Pictured- Maui! Another tropical summer scent, Truth be told, I am waiting to use these until it does warm up. I will never have to buy body wash again... seriously I have probably 10 unused bath and body works shower gels. I kinda get crazy with bath and body works... Not going to lie, especially around the holidays...  "  Maui hibiscus beach is a native island blend of refreshing star fruit, tropical hibiscus and sparkling mandarin with waves of watery melon and mango wood. The mango is really the star here, in my opinion.

Soaps!

Like body washes, I have a lot of soaps as well!

I picked two up, and one is a summery scent, and the other a spring scent. I typically love the foaming soaps, but I decided to change things up and pick up the deep cleanings, and I really love these a lot!

Mandarin- This is the springy type scent. "Juicy citron, mandarin, cyclamen petals" This scent is absolute perfection for the kitchen! And unlike the summer body washes, I didn't wait to use both of these soaps.

Malibu Sunset- This is in my downstairs bathroom, for guest to use. Who am I kidding, I never have guests.... but just in case ha! " Sweet lemon, peony petals, and blooming jasmine" Reading these scents.... I suppose this could be a spring scent, I just think summer because of the color and packaging, but this is an amazing scent!

Well I hope y'all enjoyed this post, even with how long it is, I haven't blogged in so long, I feel like I just had a lot to say!
