Lush and Bath and Body Works

I think every girl, or most girls love bath items. I absolutely love lush and bath and body works. I can easily spend a lot of time and money at both stores. The trick for bath and body works is to catch them on sale. As for lush... I only go there ever so often, mostly during the holidays. Though, I love a ton of there items, and my baths (I usually take about 3 or 4 baths a day, to warm up) I can never justify spending that much only on something solely for myself, or something that will be gone in an instant. When it is Christmas time, or when it was, I figured it was time to splurge!

I fell in love with this bath bomb. I cannot recall how it smelled, I used it some time ago, but it was super relaxing. I loved the surprise of stars that came out of it. Blue/green water with beautiful glitter stars that then flourished away in the water.

My skin felt amazing after this bath. Usually I will cut my bath bombs or bubble bars to get multiple uses out of them, being that they range from 6 to 9 dollars. This one, however, was a one bath treat, since it had a gift inside, it would not have been practical to cut into it. It would have completely ruined the experience. I treated myself to this bath after a really long and stressful day at whole foods before I had left. It was some much needed relaxation that night.

The beginning stages  & now the shiny water with stars

This bubble bar was a real treat, and I am still using it! I cut this bubble bar into fours, and it smells amazing! It smells like a lime and cinnamon combination, and turns the water a lovely green color. I actually love the glitter it leaves on your body afterwards, but I hate the glitter left in the bathtub. The bubble bars at lush never disappoint.

Candles are amazing, don't you just love candles? And I have recently bought more, as my brother in law gave me a BBW gift card for Christmas.

But today it is about these 4 beauties. I absolutely love peppermint, the smell of it is so soothing to me, especially when I have a headache or am not feeling well. I love the way it tastes, especially with chocolate. Peppermint and chocolate might just be my favorite taste or flavor combination next to peanut butter and banana, and peanut butter and chocolate. With that in mind, it is no wonder I was drawn to the mint cocoa candle as well as the twisted peppermint. Another favorite every year though is the vanilla snow flake. This candle has become a winter staple. It is the perfect amount of sweetness and vanilla, but not over powering. Usually vanilla candles are too dull or too strong, or too artificial smelling. With the combination of vanilla and coconut in this candle it gives it a very unique vanilla smell and it is a perfect balance.

The fresh sparkling snow candle, is a candle that I smelled, loved, and didn't buy. Then, I went back and smelled and loved it a second time, and I still didn't buy it. When I went in to purchase the other three candles, I knew right away I was not leaving AGAIN without the fresh sparkling snow candle! I wish this was an all year round candle. This was a new one this year and I hope it returns next winter.

Let me explain now why I am so in love with this candle. You automatically get a clean scent when you smell this candle, and then you smell something refreshing and sweet that you may not be able to pinpoint. A lot of times the fresh scents are too fresh for me, and just smell like chemicals to me. I want a fresh smell in my house, but not a chemical smell. This is just perfection, and the description is spot on. "A blend of sugarberries holiday pear and icy melon evokes the magic of a winter wonderland". And it smells exactly like that.
